What Is Coming Next in Bible Prophecy

Now, in the time of the end which is depicted in Daniel 11:40-45, false religion is symbolized by the King of the North (derived from the spirit of Babylon) and the King of the South (derived from the spirit of Egypt, where the Pharoah told Moses, "I do not know God") symbolizes non-religion or secularism. At the present time the King of the South prevails over most of human civilization. But the time is coming very shortly when the King of the North will come roaring back, and will finally overwhelm the King of the South. There will be a spiritual wartershed very soon, inwhich attitudes throughout human society will change massively.

So the final events of history will take place while false religion (religion-based tyranny) rules over human civilization, and it will be fashionable to profess belief in God; and profession of anything that sounds like secularism or atheism will be extremely unfashionable and unpopular and forcibly discouraged. It is likely that evolution will cease to rule in the scientific mainstream. All the evidences that so strongly support Creationism that have been suppressed in the past, will be brought to light in a most emphatic manner. This will seem like a great victory to Christian Creationists. But it will come at a terrible price--the establishment of the endtime religious tyranny of spiritual Babylon, as foretold in Revelation chapters 13-18.

But even as the King of the North, spiritual Babylon, seeks to consolidate its supremacy on earth, Tidings from the East will come. The true faithful people of God, established on the truth of Scripture, will stand for truth and will be empowered by God to give the final warning messages to the world. By these things the world will be judged, as people everywhere make their final choices for or against God; choosing between worshiping the Creator, or worshiping the creature and receiving the Mark of the Beast (the mark of creature-worship). See Revelation 14:6-12. Then the end will come, with the Second Coming of Christ.
